- A plastic sheet 4feet by 4feet minimum.
- Warm layered clothing including some cotton base layers (t –shirts) and woollen insulating layers.
- Waterproof jacket and trousers – don't bring your most expensive ones as they are liable to damage around fires and thorny bushes!
- Hat
- Tough pair of gloves – old gardening gloves are good
- Sturdy footwear.
- Torch with spare batteries – a head-torch is even better go here for a cheap LED one: Halfords Headtorch.
- Hand soap and toothbrush kit, toilet roll etc
There is water very near to the woodland site, however please bring 2L for the start of the course. Don't worry about having to carry it a long way – we can park in the woodland close to the basecamp. So bring any luxuries you want so they are accessible from your car – remember this is an educational course; you are here to learn, not be tested (that comes later if you choose!) so staying comfortable will help you learn far more on the bushcraft courses!
Remember Bushcraft courses can be hardwearing on kit so don't bring anything that you want kept in perfect condition!
Please feel free to bring any other personal items you desire along to our bushcraft courses; of course this is at your own risk however guitars seem to make a regular appearance although we try to keep the peace and harmony of the camp so please respect others and the wildlife when playing music in the woodland.
