TROPICAL AND FOREIGN FIRE BY FRICTION COURSE

This is a one day course that teaches the less common methods of fire by friction of fire plough and fire thong. This course is part of the essential fire course but is also run seperately for those who have already mastered the more traditional methods of firelighting and wish to broaden their knowledge beyond our shores.

We cover the manufacture and use of the fire plough and fire thong, two common methods from around the world that are rarely seen in the uk. We look at the materials that can be used for this and the varying techniques employed. All of the course materials are supplied, however as some of them need to be shipped in from overseas the cost of this course is slightly higher. However this give the highest chances of success as you will discover on this course that when using the correct materails these methods can be as easily accomplished in a day.
